“I think the new University will be a great boost for the demographic of Hereford offering a way for retaining young people within the county. It would be good to see more heritage and cultural opportunities for people my age.”
Robert is the Tenor Choral Scholar of Hereford Cathedral Choir. He loves choral music of the 15th to 17th Century and this is one of the reasons he wanted to come to Hereford as the Cathedral is a particularly well-known landmark of the English choral tradition. He’d like to become a lay clerk in the future – a professional member of a cathedral choir where he could sing every day but work each day using his politics degree.
