Dorian Gray

In July 2024 the Courtyard Senior Youth Theatre are staging a modern day take on Oscar Wilde’s Dorian Gray. Director Becky Cook approached POV to commission the Producers to create digital content for the production including social media posts to be projected throughout the production.

The Dorian Gray production blends live performance with digitally created content elements exploring Dorian’s journey through a desire for eternal youth set against the backdrop of the selfie era.

Producers Poppy, Tab and Josh have taken (literally) hundreds of photographs of the cast from their personal headshots to post Oscar parties to paparazzi style photos of hidden moments. Youth theatre member Tom has created memes and fake film posters to accompany the content.

The Producers will use Dorian Gray as a stimulus for the themed content making on the theme of IDENTITY.
