Sophie

“Living in the middle of nowhere you can’t do anything, the buses are terrible, you need to be able to drive. My driving test was cancelled due to COVID because apparently, the car was too dirty.”

Sophie is studying at HCA on the foundation course as a gap year between her A-levels and going off to Cambridge this year to study History and Spanish. Born in Mexico, Sophie and her family have travelled around the world before settling in Herefordshire. She’s only been appreciative of the county in lockdown and has done a lot of walking. She thinks we’re really lucky that the quality of the colleges; the sixth form and the art college are really good although it does take her an hour to get there.
