In the fifth episode, Charlie talks about her experience of volunteering and the incredible impact it’s had on her life. She’s joined by Tammy, a volunteer at Close House in Hereford.
“So the first time I went there, it was quite scary and daunting, because you're walking into this place that you've just heard stories about with loads of random people and adults that you didn't know. But it was really inviting. And they got me involved in the game of pool. And we were just chatting to the youth workers. And it's made a tremendous impact on my life, it gave me so much more confidence and just taught me so many life skills, that I'd recommend so many young people to actually get involved and do stuff like this because it is life changing.”
