“I just want him to be strong, powerful and have everything he needs.”

Tia lives in Leominster with her 10-week old son after moving to Herefordshire from Portugal with her parents 14 years ago. Difficulties she has found living here have been learning the language, racism and not knowing where to go for help. Supported by participation worker Deb Barnett, she has gained confidence through meeting lots of new people from different backgrounds. In the future she plans to stay in Leominster to build a home for her son
