The local retail offer

A recurring frustration is the mix of shops in Ross - seen as heavy on charity shops, hairdressers and cafes, and few places to buy ordinary clothes, meaning trips to Hereford or further. It’s noted that, for others, the variety of shops is a positive (named as one of the things they love about living in and around Ross).

• “The lack of any useful shops in town, it is all hairdressers and charity shops which are not any use to people that actually live here.”
